Artist Bio
Linda Clary studied art at the University of Texas at Arlington, but did not pursue it seriously until she retired from her job as a telecommunications manager in 2004. She is mostly self-taught through books and videos, supplemented by workshops with local area artists. She paints landscapes, florals and animals in oils and acrylics and creates wire sculptured trees. Her inspirations come from places in nature that range from the majestic and awe-inspiring to those that are peaceful and soothing to the soul. She is best known for her paintings of trees. Her paintings are exhibited online and in local galleries and they have been sold to art collectors both in the United States and Europe.
