Artist and Facilitator Debra Linker is a native Texan who, after many years in the Northwest, returned to the Dallas area to expand her horizons. After a 20 year career in high-tech software management, Debra turned her attention to the things in life which mattered most to her, but had been on the back burner while her career had center stage. Creative expression, spending quality time with people of like mind and spirit, and organizing life-changing information into rewarding workshops became the focus of her time and boundless energy.
While in the Seattle area, Debra was an active member of the visual arts community. She was an exhibiting member of Arts of Snohomish Gallery, Editor for the Eastside Association of Fine Arts and participated routinely in art shows and festivals throughout the region.
Debra belongs to each of the local art and quilt associations and is on the Board of the Plano Art Association. Se has been featured in hotels, hospitals, restaurants, boutique shops, cafes and coffee houses in both Washington and Texas.
In June 2011, Debra opened The Artist’s Loft on the square in historic downtown McKinney, where she spends every waking moment living in full color.
